Structure
Single-core, multi-wire, copper conductor, PROTOTHEN®–X (XLPE) insulation with very low dielectric losses, special inner and outer semiconductor layers that homogenize the electrical field, copper screen with a section suitable for high short-circuit currents and specially reinforced, water-swellable tape layer, aluminum protective sheath and polyethylene outer sheath high voltage energy cables. The screen is watertight in longitudinal and radial directions. If desired, longitudinal watertightness can be provided in the conductor.

– They are manufactured according to TS 10382 IEC 60840.
– Permissible Operating Temperature: 90 ºC
– Maximum Short Circuit Temperature: 250 ºC (Short circuit time t ≤ 5 sec.)
– Conductor Structure: Rigid
– Test Voltage (AC): 2.5Uo (30 min.)

Areas of Use
These cables are located underground, in concrete channels and / or PVC-PE pipes, in places where aerial high voltage lines cannot enter city centers due to safety, health and visual pollution, and they connect energy production / distribution places transformer centers to national / international distribution networks.
