Features and Benefits
• The MEC128 is a robust metallic 3U shelf that can be mounted in racks
for indoor applications or street cabinets for outdoor applications.
• Fits into standard 19” rails. Can be used in ETSI racks or cabinets using
conversion brackets. Contact Prysmian for further details.
• The shelf is equipped with a metallic cover.
• The shelf is equipped with a 128fo front patch panel with 16 columns of
8 single SC/APC adapter positions.
• The shelf is equipped with one 12fo splice tray to splice the input fibres
from the pre-terminated splitters. If the splitter input fibres are also
pre-terminated, a patch panel is available inside the shelf for up to 4 SC
positions.
• A drop down front panel protects and guides the patchcords.
• The pivoting support can fix up to nine 5mm OD tubes/cables.
• A version for this sub-rack, called MOB128, is available for preterminated cables. The sub-rack is supplied without adaptors, splice tray
but is configured to store the fibre element from the cables. (PN:
XEXSC02277 for left-handed version).
