Features and Benefits
• The rack can accommodate the range of SRS3000 shelves
and sub-racks. Please note that other 19” rack mounted
products and equipment can be mounted into the RS3000
rack. Refer to the other products within the OAsys range.
• SRS3000 shelves and sub-racks are available in 1U, 2U or
3U formats.
• Up to 45 single (1U) SRS3000 shelves can be accommodated
in the 47U rack, providing a capacity of 2160 fibres on a
patch only basis.
• The rack is supplied fully configured as a composed rack
with side channels, doors, 19” mounting rails and patchcord
storage mandrels.
• Patchcord storage drums are supplied in the left hand and
right hand side of the rack, for patchcord storage and bend
management..
• The rack is suitable for patch only shelves only as no cable
management brackets can be fitted.
• Locks are available for restricted access to the rack. Order
lock separately XKTSC00353.

Features and Benefits
• A modular rack system for use in the exchange or communications
room.
• The rack is made up of vertical pillars which can be assembled
together to achieve the required capacity.
• Each vertical pillar can accommodate up to 6 sub-racks.
• Two types of sub-rack are available – splice and patch (Network)
and patch only (Equipment).
• Network sub-racks are supplied with SC/APC pigtails and adapters.
Equipment sub-racks are supplied with SC/APC adapters.
• Each sub-rack contains six module trays. Each module tray houses
two 12 fibre splice trays. Each module tray can accommodate up to
24 fibres and 24 pigtails and adapters.
• The total capacity of each sub-rack is 144 fibres providing a total
capacity per rack pillar of 864 fibres.
• Network cables are terminated using cable breakout units (BEMS)
which are anchored to cable anchor plates located on the network
rack pillars.
• Equipment patch cords or pre-terminated cables are anchored to
cable anchor plates located on the equipment rack pillars.
• The racks have multiple built in raceways for patch cord routing
and bend management.
• The rack is constructed of steel powder coat painted black.
