• Compact, safe, easy to handle, typically used in multi
dwelling units or office fibre cabling systems.
• The Verticasa Cable Stripping tool (VCST) special design will
expose the cable elements without any damage to the fibres.
• With the dedicated adaptors supplied, the VCST is suitable
to be used with the 12,24 or 48fo Verticasa cables, measuring
8.5mm, 12.5mm and 14.5mm in diameter.
• For use only for cables with lateral GRP strength members
embedded in the sheath.
• The VCST is suitable to perform a window on a cable or to
strip the cable at a cable butt without any length limitations.

Features and Benefits
• Used to crimp a fibre module onto the pulling rope placed inside
the Verticasa Drop Tube. Can be used for one or two fibre
module(s).
• Used to crimp the 5mm crimp ring in a customer connection kit to
grip the 2mm cable to the tube.
• The Crimp pliers head has been designed to get the best grip
between the pulling rope and fibre(s).
• The nominal diameter for the micro tube is 1.95mm OD and
1.6mm ID. The tube has a 1mm slot for ease of module insertion.
The length of the tube is 5mm.

FAST – Field Installable Connectors
• Quick, simple and clean solution for terminating SC connectors.
• Can be installed in less than 30 seconds, including preparation time.
• Available in SC/PC, LC/PC and SC/APC configurations.
• Dual terminating solution for 0.25mm and 0.9mm fibre diameters.
• No specialised tooling required. Connectors can be installed using
standard fibre preparation tools.
• Factory polished eliminating the need for extra materials and
reducing installation time.
• Supplied with a disposable wedge, already assembled to the main
connector housing.
• Stable optical performance is achieved through its use of V-groove
mechanical splice technology.
• The SC/PC and LC/PC connectors have an insertion loss of ≤0.4 dB,
with a return loss of ≥ 40dB for singlemode, and an insertion loss of
≤0.2 dB for multimode.

Verticasa Bend Managers
• Used to control the bend radius of Internal Verticasa Drop Tubes.
• Bend Managers clip onto the 5mm tube.
• Can be used for a 90° internal or external bends, and also for pass through
the wall applications.
• Ensures fibre bend radius is not compromised.
• Eases fibre installation, especially for long drop lengths with multiple bends.
• Supplied with a cover for applications where the bend manager is used to
pass a tube through the wall.

• The EC is pre-terminated in the factory to a length of cable using SC/APC
connector. Fully tested, each box is supplied with data for insertion loss and
return loss for each connector.
• The standard cable length available is 40m. Other lengths can be supplied.
